We are a friendly group of 12-or-so Accordionists based in West London playing a range of Music, from Contemporary to Classical and TV-Themes to Tangos.

Today’s orchestra was established in 2011 with many of our members playing in other orchestras and bands.  Recently we have relocated from Hillingdon to Greenford under the new name ‘Middlesex Accordion Orchestra’.

Each year we look forward to competing in Accordion Festivals and enjoy performing at Summer and Christmas Fayres, School Fêtes and Residential Homes.  For such events we usually perform two thirty-minute slots with a break in-between.

The orchestra is divided into five sections – 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th plus an amplified Bass Accordion, with at least two people playing each part.

There’s no need to audition!  If you think that you would like to join us then please get in touch or just come along to one of our Tuesday evening rehearsals to meet us & to have a listen and a chat in the tea break.  It would be helpful if you were somewhere around Grade 3 but not essential.

* We’re sad to announce that our MD James Mullally, who ran the group for several years, has sadly passed away. He organised many concerts for the orchestra to play, as well as the competitions we took part in, and taught accordion to many of our players. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. *
